HOT NEWS: PROVISIONAL ADMISSION LIST TO BE OUT SOON
The list of
provisional admission into the Nigerian Navy Secondary Schools, Abeokuta, Calabar, Ojo and
Port Harcourt is to be released soon. According to a release by the Director of Naval Education,
Commodore Olatunji Olawumi, successful candidates are required to collect their
letters of provisional admission from their schools of choice as from Tuesday
26 Aug 08. The comprehensive list of successful
candidates in the interview conducted on 19 Jul 08 will be available on the link
below.

OUR VISION
Conscious of the enormous responsibilities placed on the military in the new
millennium and desirous of supporting the NN in achieving its mission, the NN
Education Strategic Vision is to utilize the advancement in
Information Technology for intellectual development through acquisition and
provision of knowledge relevant to the enhancement of operational efficiency of
the NN on one hand and that of the personnel/families on the other. In
particular, the Directorate is aware of the crucial roles the Nigerian Navy (NN)
should be playing in safeguarding the nation's economy and its contribution to
national development through provision of quality education to children of her
personnel and that of the generality of Nigerians as mandated by the National
Defence Policy.
OUR MISSION
To support the NN in ensuring intellectual development of its personnel
consistent with global changes and providing framework for NN's contribution to
national development through the proper utilization of NN primary and secondary
schools for own personnel on one hand and the children of the generality of
Nigerians on the other, as propounded by the National Defence Policy. To be the
hub of educational and intellectual development in the NN and a model
educational service provider in Nigeria.
